Our History: From One Truck to a Trusted Moving Fleet
Arnoff Moving & Storage was started with one truck, an office, and a warehouse facility in Lakeville, Connecticut. Since our inception, Arnoff has grown by leaps and bounds, acquiring numerous facilities throughout New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.
Among these facilities, Arnoff purchased the old RCA building in Albany, New York, featuring Nipper, a 28-foot dog that sits atop the roof. This New York icon is one of the most recognized trademarks in the world.
Expanding Moving and Storage Services Across the Northeast
Due to our growth and broadened moving capabilities, Arnoff Moving and Storage has since relocated our Capital Region facility to Malta, NY, and expanded with ongoing additions to create a state-of-the-art warehousing and distribution facility.
In Spring 2025, Arnoff expanded its presence in Central New York by acquiring Greater Syracuse Moving & Storage, a respected, family-owned company that has served the region since 1966. We are now proud to be a leading moving, storage, and logistics company serving the Hudson Valley, Albany, and Syracuse areas.

We operate a full trailer fleet, comprising nearly 200 trucks and vans, and over 750,000 square feet of versatile storage space. Arnoff also operates Pack & Ship locations and Arnoff Global Logistics, offering services beyond household and commercial moving and storage.
As a full-service provider, we specialize in fine art shipping, antique furniture restoration, industrial rigging, and records management, delivering tailored solutions to meet a diverse range of needs.
