After considering other moving companies for our move to S.C. in May, we contacted Arnoff. David Osterhoudt walked through our home to give us an estimate. He was very thorough and helpful in determining what we could pack and what we could have Arnoff pack. Packing out the house went very smoothly and took less time than expected. The delivery to our new home was flawless and took less time than expected. I cannot say enough about how glad we are that we contracted Arnoff for our move. Not only did the entire move go well but the estimate turned out to be higher than the actual cost, saving us money. Everyone we dealt with from Arnoff was professional and did a great job. Denise in the office assisted us with finding an associated company in our new location to come and take away our empty boxes for a nominal fee which was very much appreciated.

The office contacts, Brian and Lisa, were both very helpful, responsive and polite. Our moving experience, however, was less than satisfactory. My daughter needed her belongings moved out of her campus housing this Spring without her being present due to Covid. And she needed to have her belongings moved into her new housing in August, again without her being present as she was in quarantine. The movers left a few of her items in her room when packing, threw some of the breakable items into boxes without wrapping, ruined a few pictures that were on the wall and put clothing into a box with an open jar of garlic. All of her clothing smelled when unpacked. The boxes were not labeled so when unpacking she did not know what items where in each box without unpacking. I was very disappointed with the service. While I chose the minimal insurance coverage for damage, and I accept that. I still think they should refund some of the money for the items that were never packed in the first place (cushion on her chair, mirror). They were supposed to send me a claim form and I have never received one.

Arnoff Moving, specialty moving, relocated an oversized rural residential item within the time frame necessary. We worked with Dante DeSantis from Arnoff who sent an experienced team including Tyrone D from GM Rigging, Mike G, Robert S Sr, David D and Charles A. Watching the leadership, organization, patience, care and grit practiced by the team was impressive. Masks were worn and social distancing practiced. We would recommend contacting Arnoff with the understanding that movers in general are providing an essential service and much in demand. Thanks to all.

I am appalled at the amount and extent of destruction that Arnoff Moving and Storage, ostensibly a professional moving company, managed to do to my belongings. I never dreamed that a company who's business it is to handle furniture would be capable of taking my dining room set, which has been in my family for generations, and shear off legs, actually break off pieces, and then expect that $90.00 would be adequate compensation for their carelessness and ineptitude. It was my mistake not to buy additional insurance, but foolishly, I thought that a moving company that had been in the business for so long would actually be able to move me from Malta to Saratoga Springs without doing too much damage. I was so very wrong. Arnoff not only broke the table and the chairs, but also light fixtures and ceramic pieces. According to their contract, they only needed to reimburse me for this damage as if my precious household items were cargo at 60 cents a pound. Do not under any circumstances use Arnoff if you value anything you own.

I could not have been happier nor more grateful that the move went so well. I would use them again and highly recommend. The Office staff was so great as well. Leo, Jose & Pablo are awesome. I highly recommend them. They arrived on time. They were very friendly and efficient It was an extremely hot day with a heat warning and it didn't stop them. Completely professional every step of the way. We had many delays with our closing and we totally underestimated our needs, but the Arnoff folks (Brian and Denise) couldn't have been more accommodating. The guys doing the moving were really respectful of our stuff and home and worked their tails off. Jose led the process like a pro. Hopefully never loving again but if I do these guys get the first call.
